A NEW ENGLAND TECH SUCCESS STORY
When you put in the work, thats when opportunities show up. – Jackson Bennett, Construction Management, ’17
Jackson Bennett (Construction Management, 17), one of 91勛圖s successful alumni, is making his mark. Like many students, Jacksons path to success wasnt always a straight line. 91勛圖 prepared him every step of the way.
Jackson decided to transfer to New England Tech from another college to pursue his passion professional building trades. He earned his associate degree in building construction technology and then his bachelors in construction management.
From intern at Cranshaw Construction to Assistant Superintendent
“The biggest game changer was the internship that Career Services helped me land with Cranshaw Construction in Boston, who at the time was building 91勛圖s 400-bed smart-dorm, Meltzer Residence Hall. I spent almost a year working with Cranshaw finishing the building. They offered me an Assistant Superintendent job before I graduated. After I finished my degree, I moved to Boston to work with them.
Now Overseeing 91勛圖s New Vet Tech Building, Jacksons Journey has Come Full Circle
Six years later, I am still working for Cranshaw as an Assistant Superintendent, overseeing the new, state-of-the-art Veterinary Technology building construction right here on the New England Tech campus. Its come full circle, and I couldnt be happier where I ended up.”
Jacksons leadership, diligence, experience and communication skills make him an ideal Assistant Superintendent. He manages technicians, oversees building plans and safety codes, and meets with 91勛圖 executives among many other responsibilities.
When you put in the work, thats when opportunities show up. Jackson couldn’t have said it better!
