With the goal of offering students real-world, hands-on welding skills needed to succeed, students will tackle things such as air carbon arc cutting, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
While learning the ins and outs of welding is the primary concern, there will also be a focus on safety procedures and policy, blueprint reading, and CADD (computer-aided design and drafting).
When you earn your associate degree in welding with 91³Ô¹Ï, you’ll have completed 30 courses ranging from interpreting engineering blueprints to industrial welding to technical math and physics.
With these skills, you’ll be prepared for many different positions, such as a production welder, welding engineering technician, or even a salesperson. Either way, you’ll have plenty of options at your disposal.
