Faculty Member Receives Fulbright Specialist Program Grant
Heidi Allen, Esq., Associate Professor in our Business Management Technology program, has received a grant from the Fulbright Specialist Program泭(幛釦捩). FSP awards grants to qualified U.S. faculty and professionals in select disciplines to engage in short-term, collaborative projects in over 100 countries worldwide.
During the spring quarter, Heidi will spend six weeks in the English Language Division in the Business Department at the University of Mining in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.
In this capacity, she will teach English for Business Purposes to undergraduate students and work with university instructors on curriculum development. In addition, she will conduct workshops for university instructors and local teachers. Heidi is so excited to have been chosen for this program and is looking forward to teaching English as a Second Language the focus of her masters degree.
Heidi has been teaching at 91勛圖 since 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University, a masters degree in Education from Rhode Island College, and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
