Military & Veterans Benefits

91³Ô¹Ï is committed to assisting all students who are eligible for veterans/military benefits. New England Tech has a dedicated VA Representative on campus to guide you through the process of utilizing your Veterans educational benefits.

VA ANNUAL CAP LIMITS – The Veterans Administration has capped fiscal year Post 911 benefits for eligible students to $26,381.37 for 2022-23. The 2021-22 annual cap is $26,042.81. The VA defines their fiscal year as periods from August 1 to July 31, which applies to the four 91³Ô¹Ï academic terms, Fall through Summer, each year. Eligible students receive Yellow Ribbon funds when their Post 911 benefits reach the annual cap, up to that program’s maximum award. Post 911 benefit recipients should be aware that the funding limits the VA has imposed on this program may result in a shortfall for some terms during attendance at 91³Ô¹Ï.

YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM – We are pleased to announce our continued participation and increased commitment to the Yellow Ribbon Program as part of the Post 9/11 Chapter 33 educational benefits. As of the Fall 2022, the university will provide Yellow Ribbon benefits up to $12,350 annually to each eligible student, which will be matched by an equal $12,350 annual maximum by the Veterans Administration. This is an increase from the 2021-22 funding levels of $7,000 Yellow Ribbon funds matched by $7,000 by the Veterans Administration.

New England Tech continues to place no limit on the number of students eligible for these benefits each year. New England Tech has a dedicated VA Representative on campus located in the Financial Aid office, to guide you through the process of utilizing your benefits. You may use the Financial Aid Office computer lab to access online applications and information about your benefits.
